I have 8 years of experience in the field of speech language pathology working in private practice, health care and school settings. Providing treatment across the lifespan has always been a passion of mine as I strive to be a dynamic clinician. My philosophy in treating individuals with speech, language, social and cognitive-communication disorders is to use the power of human connection through a relationship based approach. When working with individuals who have difficulty swallowing, safety, efficiency and ease is the utmost importance. There is nothing more meaningful to me than helping a diverse set of individuals functionally communicate and enjoy their meals across natural environments in an effort to maintain the quality of each of their lives.

Over the years, I have also found a passion for consulting and coaching with parents, caregivers, teachers, allied professionals, and even university program directors. It has become my goal to not only build the skills necessary for functional communication with my clients and patients but train their supporters on how to assist their child, spouse, father, etc. in expressing themselves in such a way that they are understood and/or ensuring their meal times are gratifying. Having previously worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA), I have also developed strong enthusiasm for mentoring and advocating for assistants, students, and dedicated clinicians like myself.
